- In the morning, go to Quartier Montmartre to visit the Musée de la Vie Romantique.
The Museum of Romantic Life is established in painter Ary Scheffer’s house. Built in 1830, the house is surrounded by a quiet flower garden. Inside the Museum, you will discover a collection of objects that belonged to French poetess and writer George Sand: pieces of furniture, portraits and jewellery from the 17th and 19th centuries… On the first floor are exhibited paintings of romantic artist Ary Scheffer. Temporary exhibitions are also held throughout the calendar year.
Once you’ve finished visiting the museum, enjoy a cup of tea in a bucolic environment in the garden of the museum.

- Mur des Je t’aime
Within walking distance from the museum is another spot to see with your sweetheart: Le Mur des Je T’Aime (I Love You : The Wall). Located in the romantic garden of Square Jehan Rictus Place des Abbesses, the wall, with over 311 written love declarations in 250 different languages, has become a meeting place for lovers from all over the world!

After this busy morning, you will probably be hungry! We suggest you refill your batteries with a romantic picnic on the stairs of the Sacré-Coeur, only a few minutes away from the square.
The place, popularized by the movie Amélie, is known worldwide for its magic and beauty. It offers a marvelous view over Paris. Once again, don’t forget to take some pictures!

- Marché aux fleurs et aux oiseaux
Once you’ve finished eating, it is time to continue your visit! Let’s do something really different and off the beaten track: discover the Marché aux fleurs et aux oiseaux! Located on the Île de la Cité, Place Louis Lépine, the flower market has existed since 1830. Both covered and open-air, it is mainly formed by pavilions from the 1900s. Entirely dedicated to flowers, this picturesque market will be your most fragrant stop along the banks of the river Seine. On Sundays, the picture is complete with the opening of the Bird Market (le Marché aux Oiseaux) where you can admire cute and rare species.

And as crowning final to this wonderful day, hop aboard a bateau mouche riverboat to have a dinner cruise along the Seine. The Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches travel all over Paris to reveal the magic of the banks of the River Seine. On board, musicians play great classic French songs to create a romantic and festive atmosphere.
