Graphic Mise en Abyme Exhibition

From June, at the Pompidou centre in Paris, the graphic art gallery will present the work of the famous French artist Dov Allouche. The museum exhibits around 50 of his works and creations mainly from 2008. These pieces of work are about a mise en abyme (the Droste effect) of photography and drawings, which means that he is representing a picture appearing within itself. Dov Allouche is a former resident of the Villa Medici in Rome.
